Call for expressions of interest

The NSW Architects Registration Board embarked on a project in 2007 to become carbon neutral. As a result of this project, the Board determined to undertake a project that would assist architectural firms wishing to reduce their carbon emissions.

The aim of the project Reducing Carbon Emissions - a guide for small businesses offering professional services is to produce guidelines for small professional services organisations wishing to reduce their carbon emissions. Model guidelines will be based upon information from architectural offices; with the aim of developing a model that can be utilised by other professions to achieve carbon reduction within their business operations.

The Board is calling for Expressions of Interest from NSW architectural firms comprising a maximum of 15 staff to participate in this initiative. Applications close 29 April 2008. More information

On Saturday 10th May the Parliament will hold a public open day with special emphasis being given to the recognition of the project team and skills required to construct the building. If you would like more information about the celebrations - you are especially encouraged to attend if you worked on the site - send your contact details to nphreunion@twohuts.net
