Sydney Architecture Festival 6 October 2008
Sydney Architecture Festival, a celebration of the city's unique built environment, aims to engage with the public about architecture and to explore critical aspects of sustainability in the built environment.
The 2008 Sydney Architecture Festival is focussed on Circular Quay – the Gateway to Sydney. Held on Monday 6 October World Architecture Day, the Festival features architectural tours of the city; talks and activities at the World Heritage listed Sydney Opera House; lectures, exhibitions and kids activities at Customs House; tours of Cockatoo Island and much more.
Volunteers needed for Sydney Architecture Festival 6 October
Are you interested in contributing to the 2008 Sydney Architecture Festival?
We need volunteers to:
- assist with bumping in on Sunday evening and bumping out on Monday at the conclusion of the Festival.
- staff the information booth - communication hub of the Festival.
- assist with kids activities eg Lego at Customs House, Kids activities on Cockatoo Island. The Kids Activities are an important part of the Festival and volunteers will be rostered on with architects to assist and encourage the kids to participate.
