I love this place.. 2008 Board Research Grant
"I love this place...: community perceptions of the built environment"; the Board's 2008 Research Grant Report is now available. The National Trust of Australia (NSW) conducted this research where people of all ages across Australia were invited to take a digital image of a built environment to which they feel a strong personal connection, and submit it electronically to the National Trust’s “I love this place because…” national photographic competition. A requirement of entry was submission of a vignette of 100 words or less to accompany the image, on the theme “I love this place because…”. A condition of entry to the project was the completion of an online questionnaire which elicited community perceptions of built environment and sustainability. To see the whole report click here.  To see the final short list of entries click here

Architectural services provided by corporations and firms
Architects are reminded that where architectural services are provided by a corporation or firm (partnership or associations of persons) the entity must list with the Board the “nominated” architect/s responsible for the professional conduct of the entity. Please note that practising certificates issued before June 2004 have no standing under the provisions of the Architects Act now in force. See Form 04 on our website or contact the Board on 02 9241 4033.
