Sustainable development in regional areas - a public forum in Orange 17 September 2009
 
The Board will hold its September meeting in Orange on 17 September and will meet with local architects for an informal discussion about the regulation of architects. It will be held from 3.30-4.30 pm in the Councillors Work Room, First Floor, Orange Council Chambers, Civic Centre, Corner Byng St and Lords Place, Orange.  If you wish to attend this meeting please email Siobhan Abdurahman at siobhana@architects.nsw.gov.au or call the Board on 02 9241 4033.
 
Following these meetings the Board has partnered with Orange City Council to present a public forum Sustainable development in a regional context.
 
Speakers include Dylan Gower, winner of the 2007 Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarships for Architects, Peter Mould, NSW Government Architect and Councillor Neil Jones, Orange City Council and President of Environmentally Concerned Citizens of Orange City. Speakers will outline the issues and canvas solutions. The audience will then be invited to ask questions of the speakers and put their views.
